  • Regulator with alternate air source and submersible pressure gauge
  • Depth gauge

The majority of equipment in our intern base package is name brand equipment made by Cressi Sub of Italy with a Suunto computer.

Upgrading to better Equipment or Downgrading to Budget Equipment

The components of your basic package are of high quality and are a great basic entry level diving kit. They should last you a long time in your new diving career. However there are many other options available and a wealth of dive gear to choose from. If you wish to upgrade you can do so. If you wish to save money but want your own kit, there are some budget options available for equipment including ex-rental gear. Please contact us for more information.

Standard Dive Equipment Package

The components of our standard equipment package are listed below. Final items may vary due to supply issues, but will be of a similar quality.

BCD: Cressi Start

BCDIf you're looking for a durable, strong and almost bulletproof BCD jacket than the Start is what you are looking for. Constructed from extremely strong 500 and 1000 denier Cordura, with excellent buoyancy, even on smaller sizes the Start full jacket BCD fits the bill. Designed with the demanding use of Dive Training and Rental Facilities in mind this BCD will give the sport diver years of dependable use. All three can be manually dumped two with pull cords and the other with the power inflator mechanism. There are two plastic D-rings and two additional snap hooks for attachment of instruments and accessories. BCD has two large accessory pockets with Velcro closures, and the adjustable sternum straps along with both torso adjustment straps are equipped with quick-release buckles. The back pack is rigid for support and stability of the cylinder, yet is fully padded for comfort.

We also offer the Aqualung Wave.

Regulator: Cressi XS2

First stage

The XS2 comes with the traditional Cressi AC2 piston model. This is a non-balanced first stage with such high performance that it can be compared to lots of excellent balanced models.

The small number of components, the low weight and the excellent materials make it the strongest Cressi first stage, and the most steadfast to maltreatment, a real “working horse” amongst regulators.

An ingenious bush system allows easy and rapid external regulation of the intermediate pressure.

It comes in three versions: INT, DIN 200 bar and DIN 300 bar. INT comes as standard with all packages unless otherwise requested.

Second stage

The body of the 2nd stage is traditionally sized, made from hi-tech polymers. It has a lateral valve downstream system with adjustable orifice. it is simple and extremely reliable.

A flow of pilot air is channeled to the mouthpiece by injection, enhancing the performance. The 2nd stage comes with a a flow deviator that acts on the Venturi effect, with dive/pre-dive function.

Constantly reviewed over the years, this regulator has lots of admirers in the world due to the fact that it is extremely simple and strong, its features make it easy to use and it has low-cost maintenance. Performance levels are high, and it is suitable for any kind of dive.

Technical features

Octopus: Cressi XS

The Octopus XS2 is the same as the second stage of the XS2 model, the only difference being the yellow front cover.
